Dr. Mark R. Craft, DC
Dr. Mark graduated from Ellenville High School, attended Ulster County community college and received his B.S. in Biology from SUNY Brockport. He received his Doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO.
He is the current Chair of the New York State Board for Chiropractic, an appointment by the New York State Board of Regents. Dr. Mark has been an examiner for the Practical/Clinical Exam for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners for a number of years, three of which he has served as a member of the exam’s test writing committee.
He maintains membership in the NYS Chiropractic Association as well as the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Mark is a member of the Ellenville Regional Hospital Foundation Board and served for ten years as President of the Ellenville/Wawarsing Chamber of Commerce. He continues as an active member of the Chamber. His commitment to his community was recognized when he was honored as ‘‘The Citizen of the Year”.
Sport, industrial and auto accident injuries are among the cases treated by Dr. Mark. He also has received training in occupational health and safety as well as ergonomic workplace design.
Dr. Mark is the husband of Dr. Allise A. Marter.
Dr. Allise A. Marter, DC
Dr. Allise graduated from Riverside High School in Riverside, NJ. She attended Burlington County Community College and Trenton State College. Dr. Allise received both her B.S. in biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO.
Dr. Allise is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the New York Chiropractic Association.
Pregnancy, infant, adolescent and woman’s health are some of the cases seen by Dr. Allise. As a mother of two, she enjoys sharing her holistic experiences of raising her now adult children.
Dr. Allise is active in community service in several organizations and is the recording secretary for the Ellenville Noonday Club, a local philanthropic organization.
She is known for her love of her second Newfoundland, Hodor. Together, they successfully have completed certification as a “TDI Team.” This accomplishment is awarded by the Therapy Dog International organization. Hodor and Dr. Allise have visited our local hospital and are available for therapy dog visits.
Dr. Allise is the wife of Dr. Mark Craft.
